This was our 2nd time renting from Catskill Cabin Rentals AND our 2nd time staying in the beautiful Lake Albanese cabin! I can’t say enough good things.. from the seamless booking, great communication from Michael, to the beautiful cabin. The cabin upon arrival was super clean and has everything you could need for a great stay! Celebrating my daughter’s birthday, we all were easily able to have our own space and enjoyed both the main living space as well as the amazing finished basement. We utilized all the amenities like the hot tub, enjoyed walking the property, and did some snow shoeing to finish off a beautiful winter’s day! I would recommend renting from and staying at any of the beautiful cabins on site. We can’t wait for another stay!
Another great year spent at one of Catskills Cabin Rentals properties. Cannot say enough about the property, and the attentiveness of Michael and his team.
Like many other reviews , the homes and the surrounding property are amazing . There is privacy at every home and they are all beautifully decorated inside with many amenities both inside and out . To be there when it is snowing and walk the property is amazing and so peaceful. To be sitting in front of a roaring fire while it is snowing with your favorite beverage on hand is pretty nice and you also have the option to sit in the hottub and look out over the water . If you’re a baseball fan, Cooperstown Hall of Fame is a short drive away. Mike was great to work with and we will definitely be back during the warmer months to enjoy all that those seasons have to offer .
Pictures do not do this place justice. We only stayed for a couple night with our dog, but this one of the best trips we've taken in a while! The cabin was so cozy, beautiful, and warm (it was below 10 degrees while we were there). Michael was so responsive and sent plenty of instructions, leaving no issues while we were there. Definitely can't wait to come back!
We had a great weekend at the evergreen cabin. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend. I plan on staying at some of the other cabins as well
Stayed at lafever mid January. With the snow it was very picturesque. The cabin had all the conveniences for someone who wants to be comfortable and yet it was simple and charming. Great for pictures. Relaxing, quiet, really exceeded expectations. I can’t wait to go again in the summer when nature has even more to offer. We went as a couple but this would be great for a group. At first was intimidated by the list of rules when booking, but it’s really mostly just common courtesy and common sense rules.
This home was beautiful! The location was perfect for a winter getaway and the owners are so accommodating! We loved staying here with a big group of 12 and they made it very easy for us to be in and out<3 we hope to come again soon!
My family and I spent a magical Christmas at the cabin. Michael is incredibly helpful and thoughtful. It wasn’t our first time renting with them and it won’t be our last!
Had a wonderful weekend getaway post Christmas to relax and decompress! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The surrounding area was so peaceful and beautiful! Having the hot tub was an added bonus. Will definitely be back!
We stayed at the Lake Lafever cabin and it looked better than the pictures. It was a luxury log cabin on a secuded lake. The property was clean and well appointed. Will definitely be back!
The Cedar Cabin is exceptional! Michael is a fantastic host and made sure all our needs were met. The view, privacy and absolute peacefulness of the property and surroundings were a much needed and appreciated retreat!! I highly recommend these wonderful rentals and location. We recently took our entire immediate family up to the Evergreen Lodge. Before we left, we already were in discussion on our return trip. The lodge is really well setup, accommodated 12 of us (with 3 under 5 years old) very comfortably with the 6 bedrooms. We really enjoyed having that direct lake access, the wrap around porch to sit out and enjoy the area, and the night sky views are the best. Mike was also very responsive to my questions and requests, and has been great before, during, and after our stay. We will absolutely be returning.
We just had a 4 night stay as a family of 5 at the Lake Albanese cabin and it was wonderful!! We enjoyed fishing, playing fusball, a campfire, kayaking, paddle boat and the hot tub! Highly recommend!! We can’t wait to come back host was extremely responsible and helpful!
I don’t have enough time to explain how amazing our stay was! This went from a mini birthday get away just me and my partner, to a potential forever getaway with our family. From the cabin itself to the outdoor surroundings, everything was wonderful, relaxing, and peaceful. This was our first and certainly not our last time! We will be coming back up but with our kids and pup so that we can all enjoy the experience together.
We had an amazing weekend at the "Overwater Bungalow" cabin! The entire process was seamless, from booking to check-in and check-out. The cabin itself is stunning, and the secluded location made it even more special. We loved hiking through the woods, kayaking, and unwinding on the deck overlooking the water. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils we needed for cooking during our stay. Plus, being able to bring our golden retriever was a fantastic bonus! We highly recommend Catskill Cabin Rentals for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
We had stayed here a few years ago, so when we knew needed a few quiet days, we knew exactly where to go. This cabin is the perfect place to wind down and decompress. It was clean, comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, reading by the fire pit, walking around the property and swaying in the hammock. The host responded quickly when we reached out. Thank you Mike for sharing your place with us again!

We could not have been happier. Good times with family in a picturesque, serene environment. The facility had every amenity you could think of and was both warm and inviting. The home sits over the water and the views are breathtaking. Even the rain could not dampen our spirits. We highly recommend this location and look forward to booking it again.
Cutest cabin in the world! It was in a secluded area, and was so clean and had plenty of supplies that you would need. A wonderful fire pit outside to hang out around, close to lots of great hiking, and peaceful silence while gazing at the stars overhead — makes for a memorable vacation. We definitely will be back here for more Good Juju!
Absolutely incredible place to stay and make memories with your family! We have been back to these cabins 5 times and look forward to our next stay! We enjoy fishing, catching newts, making meals together, kayaking and peddle boating, playing games by the fireplace, s’mores at the outdoor fire and we enjoyed the hot tub after we put the kids to bed! Our family of 6 call this our home away from home!
The BEST experience at Mikes Cabin! My bridesmaids and I used this as our getting ready spot for my wedding. The house was perfect for a weekend of bridesmaid fun. Mike was SO great - allowing us freedom to enjoy our weekend without a worry. The house itself is incredible and has lots of room for a large group! Bonus to be able to have my dog there as well!
We had an amazing time at the Evergreen Lodge the property is great cabins are beautiful. True peace and quiet. Lake had plenty of fish and having access to the boats was a plus. Looking forward to go back real soon. Host was great. Cabins were extremely clean. Would highly recommend catskillscabinrentals looking forward to checking out the rest of the cabins.
Cabin was amazing!! Full kitchen had everything we needed to cook! We went to this cabin hoping to relax & get some peace & quiet for a few days, & that wad exactly what we got!!! Best vacation we've ever had!! It was exactly what we hoped it would be!! Highly recommended & can't wait to go back!!!
This was our 4th year in a row renting one of Michael’s cabins. We’ve stayed in 3 now and they’re all great. Super clean, new, and beautiful. The lakes are great sizes and stocked with plenty of fish. Our kids fished from 6am to 8pm and only stopped for breaks to eat. The TV’s look great but I can’t speak to how well they work because we didn’t turn them on. But I’m sure they’re perfect too. Already planning next years trip and we can’t wait
As soon as we arrived the beauty of the cabin, the lake, the trails caused our stress to melt away. The cabin is beautiful, spacious and clean, well stocked nicely decorated. The lake contained a building, called the lake lounge, and the lake also had a gazebo on a dock. The lake is also well stocked with kayaks a Johnny boat and a pedal boat. Our dogs loved running around the acres of forest as well as swimming around Lake. We highly recommend this cabin experience to anyone who wishes to destress.
