We stayed at Lake Eugene for our annual cousins trip with adults and children ranging from 3-16. Everyone enjoyed their stay. The cabin was as exactly described and extremely clean. Michael was very responsive. We would all come back again.

Amazing Log home nestled in the whispering pine trees. Enjoy this brand new authentic log cabin tucked into the woods for seclusion. There is a wonderful front porch to look out over the mostly level to gently sloped 10+/- acres. Inside, this custom-built 10′ log home is an open great room with cathedral ceiling, a bedroom on the main level with an open loft bedroom above.

The beautiful kitchen and bathroom are charming and constructed handsomely. The woodstove keeps the cabin cozy. The downstairs bedroom has a full size bed and the upstairs has a queen size bed. The property is on a private road with fishing and hunting opportunities nearby and is just under 3 hours from the GWB. We are centrally located between several ski slopes, including Hunter Mountain, Ski Windham, Plattekill and Bellayre mountains for the winter season.

Or take in an Oneonta Tigers game during the summer, or swim and play at the local village pool / play ground. We’re just 20 minutes from the Soccer Hall of Fame in Oneonta, and 30-40 minutes from the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Or if you want to just take in the country landscape there are an abundant number of nearby trails for hiking, running, cross-country skiing & snowmobiling. Plenty of convenient access to state land for all your hunting & fishing needs. Nearby college’s include Suny Delhi, Suny Oneonta, Suny Cobleskill, and Hartwick College.

Wow! What a hidden gem near All Star Village. We stayed at Cedars Log Home this week and it was perfection! We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. Convenient to ASV, yet off the beaten path on a private lake. Super clean! Tastefully decorated! And, oh what a pristine location. We enjoyed kayaking, catching fish off the dock, and making s’mores at the fire pit. The kids used sand shoes and walked around in the water near the dock exploring and finding fun rocks. Mike was very responsive when we had a question. This place is pricier - but, rest-assured if you’re on the fence…it’s worth it! The included kayaks, rowboat, and life jackets were really a nice touch! Such fun memories were made during our stay. Thanks Mike!

What an amazing time we had at pines cabin on lake Albanese! Cabin was very clean upon arrival and the surrounding woods and lake was so relaxing. It was a quick 10-12 min drive from All Star Village so it was very convenient for us. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

We had the absolute BEST stay in Mike’s overwater bungalow on the lake. It was about 15 minutes from Cooperstown AllStar Village and was the perfect place to fish, relax, kayak, and enjoy some time away from the fields. It turned a baseball tournament into the vacation of a lifetime. The cabin is meticulously cleaned and maintained and the beds were so comfortable. Thank you Catskills for the best week and although we live in CA, we may need to make another trip to upstate NY in the future.

We had a fabulous stay at the overwater bungalow! The house is as nice as you see in the pictures. It was exceptionally clean and the grounds were very well maintained. The location is private and quiet - just what we were looking for - and the fishing was fun! The caretaker Wayne even stopped by one morning after a storm to make sure all was well. Highly recommend!

Just returned from a wonderful week long stay at Lake Albanese Log Cabin. Everything was perfect! Such a great week with the family…disconnecting, relaxing, fishing, kayaking, cooking, etc… The kids (13 and 17) were barely on their devices…it was wonderful! The cabin was absolutely immaculate! The hot tub on the deck and the lake area were both a huge plus! I highly recommend Catskills Cabin Rentals for the perfect family getaway…especially for baseball families. Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame are a must! Cooperstown is only a 30 minute ride from Lake Albanese. Even though the cabin felt so remote, the drive into town to grab groceries or supplies was also super easy…15-20 minutes. This was definitely a favorite vacation for us. My kids and husband thanked me several times for finding it and booking it. Lastly, huge shout out to Michael for sending out communications timely and always being so incredibly quick to respond!

My family of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin on the water. The unit was VERY clean upon arrival, the accommodations were outstanding, and the living experience was relaxing. In terms of the outdoor accommodations, it was so nice being able to fish right off the deck. We caught a ton of bluegill, perch, and large mouth bass. To be able to sit on the deck and fish is amazing. We also used the kayaks and the row boat, which was the first time my kids were in a row boat. We also used the fire pit, which was nice. We highly recommend this property.

Another perfect vacation in the over water bungalow! Our dog loves the lake and the large lawn area for racing around. The house is very clean and well appointed, and the lake view right outside the sliding doors is spectacular. We love using the firepit and having firewood available nearby. Catskills Cabin Rentals are a hidden gem in Cooperstown. If your child is playing at the All Star Village, this is a perfect location just a few miles down the road. We stayed in Hidden Acres and it was newly renovated. It was very spacious and supplied all the amenities we needed for the week. The extra loft next door allowed for another family to join us and meet up at the fire pit in between. Each evening we enjoyed star gazing, s'mores, and talking baseball. Lake access is just a short drive down the road where our kids caught multiple fish. They have many similar cabins for multiple families if you want the whole support team to stay together. Catskills Cabin Rentals made our trip to Cooperstown even more memorable.

What an amazing 4 days we had at the Evergreen Lodge we honestly didn’t want to leave! The lodge is gorgeous all the amenities they didn’t miss a beat! Decorated very tastefully too! We only wished that when sitting at firepit the lake was more visible! We will be returning!

My family of 8 adults from Northern VA needed a place to stay near Norwich, NY over Memorial Day Weekend, 2024. There were no hotel rooms available due to an antique car show going on in Norwich the same weekend. So I decided to look a for a house rental. I came across the Catskills Cabin Rentals near Morris, NY. The minute I saw the big beautiful, new cabins I knew this was where we needed to stay. Luckily, the cabin Hidden Acres was available with the extra loft next door. Everyone had a comfortable, new bed, gorgeous bathrooms, and both the cabin and loft spaces were spacious, clean, and beautifully and tastefully decorated. All the cabin's have awesome fire rings, decks, Adirondack chairs, and most of all - a beautiful lake to kayak on, fish from, and relax by. Our cabin was not right on the lake, but several other cabins are. Our cabin was on, as the name says, a hidden acre of maintained land with trees and wildlife to give you a true secluded, restful getaway. Mike was super helpful and friendly. We definitely recommend them for an amazing country/lake get away!

We can't wait to back. We had the best time. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake and time in hot tub. We enjoyed making s'mores with the kids around the campfire. Our dog lived the huge yard and space she had to run around. We got to enjoy a BBQ meal on the back deck and in the spacious dinning room area as a family. We loved the fact that the kitchen and bathrooms were accommodating to our needs to not only keep the place cleaned during our stay but for our personal use while staying in the cabin. The place is extremely beautiful built and amazingly peaceful. We can't wait to book our next trip in the beautiful home, and we would recommend this place to any family looking for a relaxing and yet entertainable experience.

A perfect get away, beautiful log cabin, hot tub under the stars, clean, quiet,relaxing. My daughter goes to SUNY Oneonta and did. Not have off the week of Easter so instead of renting a hotel for the five of us , I found this gem and we could not recommend it more highly. We will go back in the warmer months and enjoy the kayaks on the lake. A plus.

The Lake LaFever property gave us exactly the comfortable, nature filled, peaceful family getaway weekend we were looking for! The log cabin is so beautiful and clean and stocked with everything you could need. Between the house and the serene quiet lake, we were just in awe of the beauty around us the entire time. The stars were amazing, the outfoor fire pit is awesome. Had so much fun going out on the row boat. We hiked the property across the street too and found so much interesting and beautiful woods scenery. Couldn't have been happier!
